Supporting Local Young Talent

Oliver is a Grade 10 student in the Instrumental Band stream of the Integrated Arts Program at Centennial Secondary School in Belleville. He plays a variety of instruments, with his major instrument being the Bass Clarinet. He also enjoys playing guitar and bass guitar and is currently teaching himself how to play the piano. 

This is Olly’s second year with the Hastings County Concert Band. A highlight this year was performing the pre-show at the Fort Henry Tattoo—an incredible opportunity to play in a historic setting. He is also a member of the Belleville Concert Band and enjoys the chance to learn from fellow musicians in the region and explore new repertoire. 

Oliver looks forward to continuing to grow as a musician and is grateful for this supportive music community and the scholarship offered through the Hastings County Concert Band.
